On 10/22/08 at approximately 2056 hours, the Gage County Sheriff's Office and Beatrice Rescue were dispatched to a one vehicle injury accident located at approximately S. 10th Road & Hickory Road.
A vehicle driven by Jerrod D. Dorn of Firth was traveling eastbound on Hickory Road. When the vehicle turned onto S. 10th Road, it ran off of the road to right, finally coming to a rest on a culvert. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Beatrice Community Hospital for non-life threatening injuries that he sustained. Alcohol was a factor and no seatbelts were utilized.
