Motorcycle Injury Accident 4 Miles East of Wymore on Plum Road

At 1404 hours on September 13, 2009, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single motorcycle injury accident on Plum Road approximately 4 miles east of Wymore. The accident involved a 1978 Black Harley-Davidson driven by Raymond A. Stevens, 50, of Blue Springs. Evidence at the scene indicated the motorcycle was traveling east on Plum Road, lost control coming around a curve, and wrecked in the ditch on the south side of the road. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from his seat and came to rest about 20 feet from his motorcycle. He sustained severe injuries from the accident and was life flighted to BryanLGH West in Lincoln. The driver of the motorcycle did have a helmet on and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the accident.
