Death in Adams

At 1645 hours the Gage County Sheriff’s Office was asked to do a check welfare for a individual that had not been seen for numerous days.  Gage County Sheriff’s personnel arrived at 746 Main Street in Adams.  Once no response was received, Sheriff’s deputies entered the residence and found Jerome Jones, 56, deceased.  Jones was pronounced dead at 1821 hours.  An autopsy has been scheduled and the case is still under investigation.
