Emergency Response Team Deployed to 30903 SW 117th Road

OFFENSE: Terroristic Threats, Suicidal, Emergency Protective Custody, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Narcotics Offenses

On October 3, 2009, Gage County Communications received a 911 call from an unknown male caller who stated that he was planning on harming himself and others.  The caller would not state his name or his location. 

Further investigation revealed that a 51-year-old male suspect of Ellis was barricaded in his garage.  Deputies arrived on scene and were able to secure the family members.  The Gage County/Beatrice Emergency Response Team was activated and responded to the incident.  The situation concluded without incident when the suspect exited an out building near the residence.  Members of the Emergency Response Team placed the suspect into custody.  A search of the area resulted in the seizure of weapons, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.  The suspect was placed into Emergency Protective Custody.  The investigation is still ongoing.
