Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing

On October 11, 2009 at approximately 2030 hours, Beatrice Communications received a report from the FAA advising that they had received a report of an aircraft that had landed on a county road approximately eight miles south of Beatrice due to engine problems.  The pilot was unable to give an exact location of the landing that occurred around 1900 hours.  Deputies searched the area in an attempt to locate the aircraft.  The FAA was later contacted and advised Beatrice Communications that the pilot was able to move the aircraft to a farmstead for the evening.  It is believed that no one was injured in the emergency landing.
