Injury Accident 1/2 Mile West of SW 100th Road on West Hwy 41

On Friday October 30, 2009, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle injury accident that occurred approximately ½ mile west of SW 100th Rd. on West Hwy 41.  A 2005 Subaru Forester driven by Vivian Bledsaw, 56 years of age of Beatrice, struck a deer that had entered the roadway from the north. The driver complained of non-life threatening injuries. The driver refused medical assistance and was not transported to a medical facility. Seatbelts were in use and alcohol was not a factor.
