Injury Accident at SW 117th Road & W Hoyt Road

On 11/28/2009 at approximately 1000, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury car accident at SW 117th Rd and W. Hoyt Rd.  A red 1994 Ford Escort station wagon driven by Casey Koenig age 20 of DeWitt was traveling southbound on SW 117th Rd when the vehicle left the roadway into the east ditch.  The vehicle struck a tree, fence, and then a culvert causing the vehicle to roll.  Koenig was not transported to a medical facility. Koenig was cited for leaving the scene of an accident.

Seatbelts were utilized and alcohol was a possible factor.
