Minor Injury Accident Approximately 1/4 Mile North of E Cherry Road on Highway 77

On 12-26-2009, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Beatrice Fire and Rescue, and Pickrell Fire and Rescue responded to a single vehicle rollover accident approximately ¼ mile north of E. Cherry Road on Highway 77.  Sherry Henrichs, age 51 of Diller, was southbound on Highway 77 when she lost control of her 2005 Ford Ranger after hitting a patch of ice.  The Henrichs’ vehicle then left the southbound lanes of Highway 77, crossed the median, rolled, and came to rest  in the northbound lanes of Highway 77.  Henrichs was assessed at the scene by medical personnel but refused further treatment of her minimal non-life threatening injuries.  Seatbelts were in use and alcohol was not a factor.
