Drug Violations

 On January 4, 2010, Gage County deputies were contacted by deputies of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office about drug information.  The Lancaster County deputies provided information about a possible marijuana grow operation at a residence in Gage County.  The Lancaster County deputies had developed this information during a vehicle stop in Lancaster County.     

Gage County deputies working in conjunction with the Lancaster County deputies were able to determine that the possible marijuana grow operation was at the residence of Matthew J. Foreman, 33, of rural Cortland.  A search was conducted at Foreman’s residence.  During the search, several marijuana plants, grow lamps, other assorted paraphernalia, and 1.3 grams of methamphetamine were found.

Foreman was arrested previously that evening in Lancaster County on drug charges.  As a result of the search, an arrest warrant is being sought for Foreman’s arrest on various felony drug charges.
