Accident Involving Patrol Unit at Highway 136 & SW 89th Road Resulting in DUI

As a Gage County deputy was conducting a DUI investigation on Highway 136 at approximately SW 89th Road on February 13, 2010, her patrol unit was struck by the suspect’s vehicle.  Sue Glynn, 66 of Lincoln, was in her 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix when she put her vehicle in reverse and collided with the front of the deputy’s patrol unit.  The deputy was out of her patrol unit when Glynn struck it.  Neither the deputy nor Glynn was injured in the collision.  Glynn was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.
