Injury Accident at S. 66th Road & Hickory Road

OFFENSE:  Two vehicle injury accident

On Sunday July 4th, 2010, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Beatrice Rescue, and the Beatrice Rural Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of S. 66th and Hickory Road.

A 1997 Dodge pickup driven by 17 year old Jordan Wallman of Filley was driving westbound on Hickory Road when he met a 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup being driven by 47 year old Nancy Bissegger of Beatrice.  Both vehicles met at the intersection where they collided. 

Mrs. Bissegger was transported by private vehicle to Beatrice Community Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.  Mr. Wallman reported no injuries.

Air bags were deployed in both vehicles and seatbelts were being utilized by Mr. Wallman but not by Mrs. Bissegger.  Alcohol is not a factor in the accident and citations are pending as the investigation continues.
