Motorcyclist Injured ½ Mile West of S 134th Road on Highway 4

LOCATION: ½ mile west of S. 134th Road on Hwy 4

OFFENSE:  Single vehicle injury accident

On Thursday September 2nd 2010, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Beatrice Rescue, and the Filley Rural Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident that occurred approximately ½ mile west of S. 134th Road on Highway 4. 

A 2003 Honda motorcycle driven by 23 year old Jennifer Bredemeier of Steinauer, Nebraska was driving eastbound on Highway 4 when the driver ran off of the roadway to the right losing control of the motorcycle.  The vehicle then overturned several times throwing the driver onto the roadway. 

Ms. Bredemeier was transported by Beatrice Rescue to Beatrice Community Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.  Ms. Bredemeier was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and alcohol is not a factor in the accident.
