Non-Injury Rollover Accident

On December 21st, 2011, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Beatrice Fire, and Beatrice Rural Fire responded to a one vehicle rollover accident at the junction of South 17th Road and East Hoyt Road. Jacob A. Larmeu (15 years old), of Filley, was attempting to turn north on S 17th Rd. from E Hoyt Rd. The driver was traveling too fast for the turn and entered the east ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle landed on its top in the east ditch.

The driver was not injured and was wearing his seat belt. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
