Injury Accident at E Hwy 41 & S 68 Rd

On 6-22-2012 at approximately 1700 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office and Adams Rescue were dispatched to a single vehicle accident on E. Highway 41 and approximately S. 68th Road. The driver, Kourtney Kempkes age 16 of Walton NE, and a 15 year passenger from Palmyra were westbound in a gray 2007 Chevy Malibu when the vehicle lost control and hit a guard rail on bridge 17888. The vehicle came to rest in the middle of E. Highway 41. Both driver and passenger were transported to BryanLGH West to be treated for non-life threatening injures. Seatbelts were in use and alcohol is not a factor.
