DETAILS: The Gage County Sheriff's Office, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, and Iowa authorities are conducting a joint investigation in reference to reports of several juveniles that were sexually assaulted while at a residence in Clatonia, Nebraska. On Friday, June 27, 2008, the Gage County Emergency Response Team (consisting of members of the Gage County Sheriff's Office and Beatrice Police Department), along with Beatrice Fire and Rescue, and the Gage County Attorney’s Office executed a search warrant at 515 Washington Street in Clatonia, Nebraska. Numerous items were seized during the execution of the search warrant and were placed into evidence. 34-year-old Matthew Hanson was at the residence during the execution of the search warrant and was arrested for 3rd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and 3rd Degree Sexual Assault and transported to the Gage County Detention Center. The investigations are ongoing.
