Deputy Dispatched to Unresponsive 28 Year Old Female

On June 28, 2008, deputies with the Gage County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 12477 West Sage Road, Diller, Nebraska in reference to a 28 year female that was unresponsive.  CPR was being performed at the time of the call.  Diller Rescue was also dispatched to this call.

The female party was Melissa Weers DOB 04-20-80.  Diller Rescue transported her to Beatrice Community Hospital.  The doctor later pronounced her dead at the hospital.  The Gage County Attorney’s Office then ordered an autopsy, which will be done on June 29, 2008.  Investigation is ongoing.
