Gage County Sheriff's Office now has accident reports online

In an effort to reduce the inconvenience to those involved in accidents, and adding to our philosophy of providing better service to our community, the Gage County Sheriff's Office has contracted with PoliceReports.US, LLC to implement a new online program for obtaining copies of traffic accident reports.  This will reduce the inconvenience for both citizens and insurance companies by allowing the flexibility of getting the reports at their leisure since the program is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Beginning November 1, 2009, accident reports generated on or after that date can be accessed through the following sites:

http://www.gage-ne-sheriff.us and click on the OFFICE tab on the left side of the page.

OR

http://gagecsone.policereports.us/

Reports can be printed from the internet 24 hours a day 7 days a week for $3.  If purchased in person at the Gage County Sheriff's Office, the same $3 fee applies.

In order to download copies of reports, citizens will need to have a computer, printer, access to the internet, and a credit card to purchase.
To search for an accident report, simply enter the report number & driver/owner’s last name OR driver’s last name & date of report.
Please allow three to five days after the accident has occurred before attempting to access the report.  Hit and run accidents may require additional time.
Electronic distribution of accident reports via the web will allow the Gage County Sheriff's Office to be more efficient and provide an increased level of customer service.

If there are any questions regarding this service, please contact the Gage County Sheriff's Office at 402.223.5222 x 217 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
