The Gage County Crime Stoppers members of the Board of Directors are appointed and serve to support law enforcement agencies, publicize ways the communities and individuals can report crimes, assist officers as they provide community education and programs, be involved in community activities and organizations, and significantly, to organize and sponsor activities to raise funds that are used as rewards to individuals that anonymously provide information and report crimes by calling 402-228-4343.

On August 21, 2011 at approximately 1930 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s Office was advised that two individuals were causing problems in the Grand Ave Bar in Barneston.

On September 26, 2011, deputies of the Gage County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a vehicle complaint in Blue Springs. 

Burglary & Felony Criminal Mischief in Pickrell

OFFENSE: Burglary and Felony Criminal Mischief

On September 20, 2011 at approximately 1240 hours, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to 202 Nichols Street in Pickrell reference to damage to a house.

Criminal Mischief & Willful Reckless Driving

At approximately 0130 hours on March 26th, 2011, Gage County Deputies discovered a large quantity of road signs and a bean field damaged in the area of Highway 112 and State Line Road near Lanham, Nebraska. 

Attempted Burglary at Blue Springs Keno

On January 19, 2011 at approximately 0300 hrs, Gage County Communications was contacted by a security company advising them of an intrusion alarm at Blue Springs Keno, 619 W. Broad St. in Blue Springs.

In the months of October and November of 2010, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office received reports by two females who reported they were consuming alcohol at a local establishment in Pickrell, NE.  Both females reported that they experienced symptoms that are not common for the amount of alcohol they had consumed.
