Law Enforcement

The Gage County Sheriffs Office has deputies trained in the dismantling of Clandestine Methamphetamine Labs.  These labs are homemade and are made of regular store bought products and assembled by novices not knowing the dangers they are encountering.  The hazards are numerous and the effects on the persons manufacturing it, to the persons dissembling it, and to the environment where the suspects dump the by-products could be devastating.

The Investigator for the Gage County Sheriff's Office has a wide range of responsibilities and is trained in several different areas to assist the office.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Gage County-Beatrice Special Operations Group (SOG) is to provide a high level of law enforcement service to the citizens of Gage County during high risk incidents.

The Gage County Sheriffs Office currently employs a canine unit. The canine is a dual purpose canine trained in the areas of patrol work and narcotics detection.
