Credit Card Now Available for Several Jail Services


The Gage County Sheriff’s office has expanded the use of the PayPort service to include the Gage County Jail.

Handgun Permits


All handgun permits for Gage County, with the exception of Wymore residents, are obtained at the Beatrice Police Department at 201 N 5th Street.  Residents of Wymore may obtain their handgun permits at the Wymore Police Department at 302 S 6th Street.  If you have any questions, please call 402.223.4080.

On 01-18-2015 at approximately 0243 hours, Gage County Deputies, Beatrice Fire and Rescue, and Pickrell QRTs were dispatched to the area of SW 2nd and Chestnut Roads for a 34 year-old male subject who had jumped from the rear door of a moving vehicle.
