Credit Card Now Available for Several Jail Services


The Gage County Sheriff’s office has expanded the use of the PayPort service to include the Gage County Jail.

Handgun Permits


All handgun permits for Gage County, with the exception of Wymore residents, are obtained at the Beatrice Police Department at 201 N 5th Street.  Residents of Wymore may obtain their handgun permits at the Wymore Police Department at 302 S 6th Street.  If you have any questions, please call 402.223.4080.

Single Vehicle Injury Accident on Highway 77 between Ash and Aspen Roads

On 12-18-14 at around 0640 hours, Cortland QRTs, Clatonia Fire and Rescue, Beatrice Fire and Rescue and the Gage County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a single vehicle injury accident on US Hwy 77 between Ash and Aspen Road.

The Gage County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Beatrice Community Hospital reference a possible assault that occurred between a husband and wife near SW 103rd Road and W. Olive Road near Odell.

On 11-30-14 at approximately 0248 hours, a Gage County Sheriff’s Office Deputy conducted a traffic stop at S. 66 and Juniper Roads after observing a vehicle drive left of center and fail to signal within 100 feet.

OFFENSE:        Minor in Possession of Alcohol

On 11/08/14 at approximately 0107 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies received information about a party where minors were consuming alcohol in the area of S. 51st Road and E. Lilac Road.



Temporary Visitation: 

The Gage County Detention Center will be setting up a temporary visitation schedule which will begin on Tuesday November 11th, 2014.
