The Gage County Sheriff’s office has expanded the use of the Nebraska.gov PayPort service to include the Gage County Jail.
All handgun permits for Gage County, with the exception of Wymore residents, are obtained at the Beatrice Police Department at 201 N 5th Street. Residents of Wymore may obtain their handgun permits at the Wymore Police Department at 302 S 6th Street. If you have any questions, please call 402.223.4080.

On 11/08/14 at approximately 0107 hours, Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies received information about a party where minors were consuming alcohol in the area of S. 51st Road and E. Lilac Road.
The Gage County Detention Center will be setting up a temporary visitation schedule which will begin on Tuesday November 11th, 2014.

On 10/27/2014, Katherine Tetrault, 26 of Lincoln, NE, was driving her 2007 Pontiac Sedan eastbound on Apple Road when she lost control of the vehicle approximately one quarter mile west of southwest 42nd road.
