On June 28, 2008, deputies with the Gage County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 12477 West Sage Road, Diller, Nebraska in reference to a 28 year female that was unresponsive.  CPR was being performed at the time of the call.  Diller Rescue was also dispatched to this call.

DETAILS: The Gage County Sheriff's Office, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, Saline County Sheriff’s Office, and Iowa authorities are conducting a joint investigation in reference to reports of several juveniles that were sexually assaulted while at a residence in Clatonia, Nebraska.

The Gage County Sheriff's Office was selected to participate in the national “Click It or Ticket” campaign. The dates of the grant period were from May 19th until June 1st, 2008. The mini-grant was sponsored by the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety. Numerous full-time, part-time and reserve deputies participated in the grant. All overtime and road patrol miles will be reimbursed to Gage County. Deputies patrolled an additional 863 extra miles searching for traffic violations of motorists in Gage County. Thirty-six contacts were made with motorists, including vehicle equipment violations, warnings, and citations. Seat belt and child safety restraint awareness was the primary goal of the Gage County Sheriff's Office to make our roadways safer for all who use them.
